Who invented gravity?
...there isnt a decent person out there in the universe who shall admit to such an ominous invention. The sad truth is that a few wizards geneticists have gone out on a limb trying to set up a universe that will feature some distorted version of the properties of mass so that they establish the notion of gravity.. take from me my friend, this science your species esteems so highly on planet Earth is nothing but a big fraud!

Who else thinks Twilight the series is incrediably dull?
This book is so lame. The characters have unpredictable mood swings, the love story is corny excuse my lack of a better word for it, everybodys so NICE out of the realm of reality, there is a lack of plot and character development, and the writing style is so amateur...
I agree with everything.brbrThe mood swings are mostly Edwards and my theory is that it was intended to make him seem more mysterious and therefore intriguing, quotbadboyquotish, and... hot. It backfired, though, into what everybody besides obessors now knows as Eddie The Controlling, Over Protective, Not To Mention Abusive, Vampire.brbrThe story is kind of corny, true. But the overuse of the adjectives makes it worse. Lack of plot and character development, absolutely. What I dont understand is how people fall for the quotlove at first sightquot thing Smeyer decides to throw at us. I mean, really. The characters are already unrealistic. That just makes it even worse!brbrAnd the writing. I dont even want to try and count how many dashes Smeyer uses between sentences, and each time she uses it, she could just as easily use a semicolon, comma, or break the sentence up into two separate ones. No reason to keep using a dash. Why didnt the editor say anything? Is that supposed to be acceptable?brbrEddie. Hes alright. I think people go a little overboard with calling him abusive, but more because I know hes not supposed to be. Its another mistake Smeyer made. But what I really hate are his mood swings and the fact that he doesnt let an already lowselfesteemgirl make her own decisions. Which adds to his controlling personality.brbrAnd last, but most certainly not least, it IS dull. If the characters had more dimension to them, the book wouldnt be dull, and I think the fact that the book barely has a plot could be excused. The fact that she lies about everything to everyone adds to that, and so theres no excitement, no twist in the story. Imagine if the perceptive Angela found out that Edward was a vampire? What then? But no. No twists. Why? Because its Eddiepoo and Belly thats it.brbrTwilight had potential. The weak characters and plot ruined it, though.brbrEdit I feel like I just wrote a review for the book XD Woops. Went overboard.

Who do you think is the worse serial killer in history?
Personally, I would say Albert Fish. I know he was mentally ill, but someone like that was just too dangerous to keep alive in an asylum anyway.
Harold Shipman, the doctor who was jailed and subsequently hanged himself in , is thought to be responsible for the deaths of around people.brbrThat said, his victims usually slipped quietly away in a haze of illprescribed drugs, whereas the victims of Mr. Ted Bundy found their skin being worn by that particular nutcase.

Who do you think is responsible for your suffering?
Pain is in the present tense while suffering is always about the past, so suffering is a choice, while pain is a reality. brbrWhen we get stuck in a painful experience that happened in the past, we suffer. brbrNonacceptance creates suffering as when we cant accept an experience we cannot release or heal the pain. Though acceptance ends all suffering, acceptance itself is a choice and so is suffering.

Who do you think is better the Harry Potter or the Twilight series ?????
I want to know how you think is the better series
Twilight, but not by much. I absolutely love Harry Potter too. Theyre both great books but im a sucker for a love story. Okay, for whoever wrote a freaking essay tearing apart Twilight, you do have a good point about that time of the month thing. I have also considered that. However, about the whole year thing. Carlisle was in Amercia and he had found in this order Edward he was the first one, not Esme!!!, Esme, Rosalie, Emmett. He hadnt had Alice and Jasper yet. So that being said, I do respect your opinion but i think that Twilight is a kick butt book. So is harry Potter....
Who do you think is beautiful?
is it sian left or mai right
Given that this is a photography forum and not a quotwho i prettierquot forum..all I have to say about them is that the second image is more stylistic, where as the first one is more photojournalistic in its approach.brbrEveryone has beauty and beauty is more than skin deep. Its a pretty shallow question to expect people to determine quotwho is prettierquot from a simple image. Beauty is the entire package. Ive known women that are drop dead gorgeous and had the coldest, wickedest hearts...so ugly and they couldnt figure out why all men wanted them for was sex.brbrIve also known quotaveragequot looking women who have men fighting over them. They are the most loving, caring souls you will ever meet.brbrThink about that next time you consider posting something like this.brbrHave a great day!

Who do you prefer? Severus Snape or Edward Cullen?
I love both! I cant decide.. I mean, Snape is my hero and hes amazing and hes really very good looking in a different sort of way especially when portrayed by Alan Rickman.
Okay, this is getting to the extreme NO more comparing Harry Potter to Twilight. brbrSnape actually has dynamics and is a believable D character. You can never predict what he going to do. Lets start from the beginning, the first book. When we were first introduced to Snape we believed that he was the mean nasty bad guy, but then we found out at the end of the book he had actually saved Harrys life. His personality is always seem to be changing in each book and you can not tell if he is on the good side or bad. That is until the last book when us readers discover yet another side to Snape. To recap Snape is a dynamic character is always make us actually think and ponder.
Who do you prefer Edward or Jacob? from twilight?
How is this even a question? Edward brbrNow, where do I begin...brbrJacob is constantly trying to seduce Bella whereas Edward has nothing but love and respect for her.brbrAnd what was with the whole quotIf you dont kiss me Im going to kill myselfquot bull ? Edward never tried to pull a ridiculous stunt like that.brbrAfter Jacob was aware that Edward could hear his thoughts, he proceeded to imagine things he knew would hurt Edward.brEdward was almost always composed and polite towards Jacob, yet Jacob still acted like a jerk to put it lightly.brbrThis is more on Bella, but Jacob always got off easy when he insulted the Cullens... or got her in extreme trouble! But all he had to do was say quotOh, Im sorry. Ill never do it again.quot Give her the sad puppy dog face and then she would smile and say, quotOh Jake, I could never be mad at you!quotbrBut if Edward says one tiny little insult such as, quotmongrelquot... well that was just unforgivable!br brbrI almost started to like Jacob in Part of Breaking Dawn.... but that all deteriorated in Part . brFor examplebrWhen Jacob decides to inform Charlie of certain events he shouldnt know about. And inviting him over to the Cullens without asking, which caused Bella much pain.brbrHa, but this I just cant wrap my head aroundbrbrThis was when they were waiting to introduce Renesmee to the Denalis...brquotJacob let me hold Renesmee...quotbrSeriously?!brquotThe sicko dog who has googly eyes for my MUCH younger daughter was kind enough to let me hold her...quotbrbrbrbrAnd people still love Jacob... really?
Who do you fancy most Prince William or Prince Harry?
If you had to choose between the two? And would the title affect your choice?
Theyre both very different and too young for me but Id prefer Wiliam as a soninlaw though I wouldnt want my daughter to be queen.
Who do you consider was the finest army ever. now or in history.?
I think Caesar Roman army, followed by Alexandra the great army, and surprising to all, The world war German army, it took on to many, What do you think?

He moved on into the roman peninsula holding therefor years destroying every army sent against him but unable to take rome due to the lack of men.... lol he did much much more but that is one of my favorite battles...now take this in account he destroyed much larger armies and one might notice that most of his men were not Carthaginians yet he still held their loyalty and respect...again genious....He took on and defeated the most disciplined army in the world, the romans, and with a numerical disadvantage... Now you may say Alexzander did the same but the forces he opposed were brsizably large such as the persians but were not skilled fightersbrand as for Julias Ceaser you obviously do not read history..he did very little soldiery mainly in Gaul and that was for military glory one of his many little steps to become emperor he was not a brilliant general he was a brilliant politician..

Its a simple yes or no answered question,Im doing a survey for my friend who doesnt have a computer
I dont get this whole vampire phase everyone is going through. Now, I cant say I hate the bookmovie because Ive never read them or saw the movie. What draws me away from it is how people constantly talk about Twilight, like its the hottest thing in the world. A few of my friends tried converting me to a Twilighter, but it didnt work for me.brbrIn other words, not really. Not my type of genre
Who does a person owe the most to? Is it mother, father, teacher or any other? Do please justify your answer.?
Thanks in anticipation of your views.
good question small. brMother, father, teacher...they all give us love, knowledge and inspiration, which cannot be repaid. so quotowingquot would not be fair. i dont think we owe anything to them, which we have pay back. As a child of those wonderful parents, one should never cease to love them, one should be with them through bad times as well as happy ones, that is what they would want. As a student of a good teacher, one should use the knowledge to be someone great and good. and one should never think that they owe something to these great people. because if you owe something and pay it back, the deal gets through...and gets over. but one should never ever end to give the love and attention a mother, a father and a teacher requires.brbrbrbrcandy

Who Dies in Harry Potters Book Seven?
JK Rowlings just come out with a statement saying that two characters will die in Harry Potters seventh book. She also stated one character got a reprieve isnt going to die, even though she intended them to.
I feel Harrys scar is last Horcrux this means in order to destroy Voldemort once and for all Harry must die! Harry will realize this and sacrafice himself to save everyone. My guess it will be a sweet ending with Harry going to his parents. So my answer the characters that die are Voldemort and Harry
Who created humans, god or science? i want your opinion?
to me, science is the reality. we evolved from Apes and monkeys, the characteristics are so clear. and everything we see and do is science.i dont agree with god stories, they are just made up. what do you say?
God made man
Who created God?
Something can ALWAYS be halved just as it can ALWAYS be doubled the human mind has a problem comprehending this as to us there is supposedly always a beginning and an end to everything.
Bill Gates. Or at least he owns God. Last I heard he bought the rights to all religion, making God his personal sock puppet. Its official folks, God no longer runs things around here.brbrReligion and digital versions of the Bible will now come packaged free with all future operating systems from Microsoft.brbrAll hail Bill. Who Cares?
I would care if I knew what it was that it was worth caring about.
Is It important to be vegetarian?
Im vegetarian, and I must say that I feel satisfied by this decision.Im surprised that there are some persons, who dont like touching or to be next to an animal and then heshe eat It....When I was a child, even I was used to eat meat, but now Ive grown up and following my own sense of view, I think that this is absurd, to eat an innocent being...and I feel ashamed even of my past, when I used to it It..
I think killing animals for consumption is just wrong. Why add more pain and suffering in this world. Most meateaters dont know what theyre really eating and the process of getting the animal to their dinner table. At the time Like many other meat eaters I was taught animals were raised on farms for me to eat. Which was also reinforced at school. Little did I know that in these modern times animals are mistreated, abused, ampsometimes sick just to maximize profits. A good portion of nonvegs never kill a live animal for meat because they know its wrong. Never eat something with a face. Somewhere along those lines is a common saying for vegetarians, but it seems nonvegs follow this motto differently. When you buy meat at the store what do you see? You see faceless hotdogs, deli slices, hamburgers, chicken nuggets, etc. Not dead diseased rotting carcasses that were once tortured animals. Which makes it a lot easier for you to eat it when you dont have to think about it. When people argue that as vegetarians we kill living things too so why would it make a difference if it was an animal? Well, theyre right. Every time we breathe, shower or get better after being sick were killing something. organisms, good and bad. According to one of the characteristics of life, to be classified as living We must eat something amp the more humane choice would be plants. . But what they most meat eaters dont realize is that they are not on a meat diet. They eat plants and animals that eat plants too. Which in turn takes more crops to feed those animals than it takes to feed humans alone. So thats not a good excuse in favor of eating meat. By choosing to become vegetarian, you are help making this world a tiny bit better less destruction and killing. One thing you must do as a vegetarian is to make sure you dont enforce your beliefs on anyone. People will resent you and everything vegetarianvegan. So educate anyone who will listen and whoever asks about it without making them feel like bad person. Which they are not ...just people who made a choice just like we didbrbrTo answer your question, yes it is important to be vegetarian. Becoming vegetarian is a personal choice that nobody can tell you to be or not to be. There are so many positives to a vegetarian lifestyle. And you know it so dont let anybody tell you otherwise. Dont be ashamed of your pass, accept it as it is and move on. Think a bout it. You improved for the better, for yourself and the world. brbrExcuse me if Im wrong but it seems like you needed someone to validate your choice. And I hope this just did DbrbrA few QuotesbrbrI think if you want to eat more meat you should kill it yourself and eat it raw so that you are not blinded by the hypocrisy of having it processed for you. Margi ClarkbrbrYou put a baby in a crib with an apple and a rabbit. If it eats the rabbit and plays with the apple, Ill buy you a new car. Harvey DiamondbrbrOne farmer says to me, quotYou cannot live on vegetable food solely, for it furnishes nothing to make the bones withquot and so he religiously devotes a part of his day to supplying himself with the raw material of bones walking all the while he talks behind his oxen, which, with vegetablemade bones, jerk him and his lumbering plow along in spite of every obstacle. Henry David ThoreaubrbrTruely man is the king of beasts, for his brutality exceeds theirs. We live by the death of others we are burial places! I have from an early age abjured the use of meat, and the time will come when men such as I will look on the murder of animals as they now look on the murder of men. Leonardo da VincibrbrTongue a variety of meat, rarely served because it clearly crosses the line between a cut of beef and a piece of a dead cow. Bob Ekstrombr
Is it immoral to have a very passionate fantasy about the one you love?
Even without really holding eachother?
I really dont think so. But I cannot feel your thoughts. This is really something only you can answer. brI know that when I am feeling slightly uncomfortable about my thoughts, I do my best to change them, fast.
Is it illegal to read a whole book in one sitting at barns and noble?
would that be similar to stealing??
Not at Barnes and Nobles, but I tried that at a local bookstore. Actually, I didnt intend to read the full book. It was a long novel and I am a very slow reader. I was on page , and the book was beginning to pick up pace, when the storekeeper came and said, quotSir, if you read the book here then what are we to sell. Please, just check the index here.quot I dropped the book and bought another one. Man, I felt so embarrased. brbrIt may not be illegal, but is not ethical. Bookstores shouldnt be used as libraries. It isnt fair, is it?brbrTW K
Is it hoplessly naive to hope for a better world for my children?
I dont know if Ive been watching too many Disney movies, but is there any way we can bring back the world from the brink of destroying itself, or does the hatred run too deep?
Thats a hard question....I think many people feel the way you do....I know that i have a hard time thinking about bringing kids into this world....I fear for them and there future....growing up i always wanted to have kids....but now that im older and i see all that is going on, I think I have changed my mind on having kids....which saddens me, but I would hate to know what this world will turn into long after our generation is gone.....There are many changes that need to be made in order to bring back the world from the brink of destroying itself....unfortunately its not in our control......I wish it were though.....I really do.
Is it good to hate yourself?
why not brevery one else does
Is it gay for guys to do theater?
I do it and Im not gay.....your thoughts?
Absolutely not! Theater is a great form of art that anyone can enjoy. I myself am very involved in theater programs, and I am straight. There is no reason why gay men and straight men cannot enjoy the same things. Except, you know, sex and stuff.
Is it gay for a guy to write poetry and cook?
im a guy and i like to cook and write poetry in my spare time. i havent really told anyone. i like this girl and i wrote her a little poem and one of my friends found it and he started to laugh also, a long time ago i tried to cook and my brothers friends walked by and they started to laugh a bit. both of those things relax me so, is it gay to do those things?
Of course it isnt. Dont ever think that because girls love it when they have a guy who can cook and who has a way with words. Im guessing the guys who laughed at you for doing that are jealous because not many guys want to reveal their creative side. Like I said, its totally not gay for a guy to cook or write and every other girl in this world would agree with me.
Is it ever okay to lie?
yes if you do it to protect someone. sometimes telling the truth is just away to unburden yourself and all it does is make you feel better and the other person worse
Is it ethical to set fire to people I dont agree with them?
and circle them whilst they are on fire, shouting, Ha your not answering me back now you are on fire Ha your not answering me back now you are on fire.
yes

Is it better to start with no hope, or have hope and be let down?
I guess theres always a risk you take when you hope for something. So do you perfer to have no hope and just let it be, or do you hope and run the risk of being completely crushed?
I think to have hope and be let down. Lets face it, that will happen to all of us at some point in our lives. To have no hope at all, seems very bleak. brbrI dont know that anyone can truly give up all hope. I think that somewhere deep inside we always have a tiny bit of that hope squirreled away . Sometimes we just hide it a little too well. brbrWhen you totally lose hope , you give up on life .
Is it better to punish the innocent or let the guilty go free?
Isnt it the same thing? Letting the guilty go free is punishing the innocent.
Is it better to live for the moment or plan for the future?
usually, its best to have a good balance for both.
Is it better to know the truth and be hurt or ignoring it and be happy?
Its better to know the truth and be hurt. I rather know whats going on and move on rather then ignore it and be happy, because it will come back and hit you again.

Is it better to know and accept your limitations...?
or just keep trying to surpass them?
I think both of these things are tied together....brbr...knowing and accepting our limitations has to come first before they can be surpassed...and this knowing and acceptance builds the groundwork for surpassing them....and if these limitations are beyond our capability to surpass, then at least there is selfacceptance and an understanding of what is possible.brbrIn a sense, I say do both things.

Is it better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all?
Yes, but you need a strong chaser
Is it better to forgive or to hold a grudge?
I have, almost without exception, up until now, followed the former. I have just been treated with contempt by yet another person and have chosen to let it go.
Holy books tell you to forgive. Even forgive those who sin such as taking the life of another. Screw that, I say! brbrSome people talk about forgiving somebody or tell the person that they are going to forgive them..yet they still hold onto the emotions of anger, hurt, shame etc..brbrSometimes you just cant forget these emotions, which means you havent forgiven them but you can still accept and move on!brbrHOWEVERbrbrTo me the word quotGrudgequot sounds twisted and frightening. Like your about to seek revenge on the person, and creep up on their vulnerability. brbrPeople have done some things which I cant forgive, but I have accepted their apologies and moved on. To this day the situations havent been mentioned and we are the best of friends! So I have done the FORGOTTEN part but not the FORGAVE. I certainly hate the word revenge unless used in a jokey manor!brbrThank You! Take Care!

Is it better to be in the shade and seeing the light or to be in the light and seeing the shadows?
If you are speaking of transitioning from one to the other i.e. you see one and desire it more than where you are then it is infinatly better to be in shadow and see the light. Your past may fill you with sorrow but if you strive to improve yourself and are able to do so then there is no need to fear.brbrIf you are speaking about existing in one and comprehending but not seeking after the other then it is better to be in the light. Seeing the abominations of this world for what they are, unmasked and stripped of discuise before your eyes may fill your soul with a crushing sadness, especially when youre unable to change or remove the evil from others. Always be in the world but not of the world i.e. you have no choice but to live in this world but never partake in the evil that is contained and sometimes promoted. If you are in the light then another who is in shadow may see you and find the strength to come to you in the light. Example is a powerful tool. You are in the light and should encourage others to come and enjoy the blessings of the light. You will find joy in those you help to comfort your sadness. They will show you that there is still hope for those who are in darkness.brbrIt is better to be in the light and remain in the light. Know the darkness so you will not stray into it on accident. If in darkness, seek the light. If in the light, encourage others to come to the light. Never give up hope and know that darkness is just the absence of light.brbrP.S.brSorry I was a little longwinded there but I kindof need to flush out these ideas in my head and know that I should not give up hope.
Is It better to be hated for who we are, or to be loved for the mask we wear?
It is better to be hated for who you are, but it would be much better to be loved for what one is, free of masks brWe hate that we can not love, to have or control, is a recurrent phrase among intellectuals. Spinoza gives, for hate, opposed to a definition set for love, but formally similar. He writes quotAnyone who imagines that he hates what is affected with sorrow, be happy, if, on the contrary, he imagines affected with joy, will have sorrow and affection will be either higher or lower as more or less affection to the contrary in that he hates quot.brbrKind regards.

Is it appropriate to take an yr old boy to see the holiday ballet quotThe Nutcrackerquot?
I want to take my yr old son to see this ballet, but is it too feminine? I want to expose him to the performing arts.
If you think he will be interested, then by all means, take him.brbrI hate this ridiculous notion that ballet is just for girls. Metaphoricallysymbollically, yes. Scientifically, no.
Is it alright for an adult to read children books?
I am an adult now, but there are some series from when I was a kid that I still would like to read now even after giving it up do to business for a few years. I used to read the magic tree house, Fudge series, etc. I read them as kid and now as an adult would it be wrong to start reading them again. It does seem embarassing to be reading a kids book.
Nothing binds us in lasting relationships with the books we read the way childhood books do. Their pages shaped our creativity, nurtured our innocence, smiled benignly at our efforts to make better and more colorful sense of their upsidedown images and letters, accomodated our own images of how the stories might be better illustrated...they held our own little world.brbrOur adulthood makes us reticent, limiting our public posturing within the dictates of public propriety.brbrSo what if we read our book. Let them die of envy at our prerogative to reclaim the joys of our innocence. Pity the souls who have lost ther triggers to tangential insights, lost the tactile connection to the simpler joys of childhood, grown amnesiac to reminiscences of places and people in the stains or crumbs embedded in the pages.brbrIf you must, wrap it in an quotadultbookquot cover. You may even read it upside down, informing anyone who cares to ask that youre training yourself to read upside down the way some select people train themselves to. I bet youquotll mean it, too.brbrHappy journeys!

Is it a bad idea for a yr old girl to be an exotic dancer?
Well, before you label me as a slut, my mom and I are about to be evicted. Shes already working two jobs, and i have a job already too as a wedding singer. The other day when i was looking for a job as a waitress, I was offered the job of an exotic dancer at this place called Friction. I know that its not the most quotappropriatequot or even quotlegalquot job in the world for me, but it pays a lot and I mean A LOT of money.
I would say NO to this but, as you stated, you are in a fix and that can cause lots of stress. IF you take this job, I HOPE you know womeone who can keep an eye on you for safekeeping so that when your shift finishes, he or she is there to give you a ride home. I know the nite life and have been there musically but its the same thing. Whether , its a bar and all kinds of people hang there.brbrI know of one girl who does it because she has to support her child and her stupid boyfriend left her. She had the looks and at least, when the shift was finished, she disappeared and quickly. Locked the doors to her car and went home. She did it for months to get here so she put enough money on the side.brbrPlay safe. I am not suggesting to take it but , without a dad, and without other income, eviction is a pain in the BUT. From experience, make sure you have GOOD friends to take you home. That is all I say.brbrEven if we tell you dont do it, you are in a fix so exceptions are allowed. Like I said, I knew this yrs old who got false ID and the owner of the club respected her and made sure she was safe. But HEY. That is ONE club owner among others.brbrGood Luck.
Is Islam the beast?
The beast of seven head that will be defeated with fire from the sky...uhm..Is Islam the beast...they had killed this week women and chinldren in a market, a woman who wanted to make gilrs to go to school in Afganistan...more people in Afganistan queuing for going to Meca...if this is the treat quotmuslim on muslimquot what else we can wait...so...is Islam the beast?
I believe that Muslimism has been distorted by a society where people were purposely left uneducated. If someone cant read the Koran, then heshe depends on someone to tel himher what is in it. This has allowed the leaders of these middle eastern countries to tell their citizens whatever they want and say it was Allahs idea. I am no expert, but I do have some insight through people I know that are from that area. I dont believe a true muslim would kill poeple. I believe they only do this if they have been brainwashed by a corrupt government that uses religion as a tool to get their people to start wars and breed suicide bombers.
Is intelligence innate in all living things?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Have a great day?
YES. A big YES!brThe intelligence were talking about is the quotknowledgequot that every living entity is born with, and which allows it to adapt to the environment in order to survive. If you put a plant on a window sill, in a day or so it will have turned its leaves to face the light. Turn the plant around and in another day or so, it again will have turned its leaves to receive the light it needs to maintain its normal functions.brThe plant doesnt use logic to figure out that it needs light, or decide to turn its leaves around to face the window. It doesnt quotthinkquot and it isnt selfaware. Yet, the intelligence it possesses allows it to go from a tiny seed to a lush plant, to send roots into the soil to find water and nutrients, to search out and utilize light and air, to transform those elements into additional leaves, roots, sprouts, and even more seeds which will be carried on the wind to start the process all over somewhere else. Not random action, but intelligence. Not education, but inborn knowledge. brInnate Intelligence.brbrGood question my friend! Congrats!
